This site shows the AED to INR rate and what UAE exchange houses are paying for it today. It is built for people in the UAE who send money home to India and want to know whether the rate they are being offered is reasonable.
Where the rates come from
The mid-market rate comes from UniRateAPI and refreshes roughly every hour. Exchange house rates are collected from the houses' own public rate pages every two hours. Each rate on the site shows when it was last updated, and stale data is labelled as such rather than shown as live.
What the site does not do
We are not a money transfer service and we do not handle payments. No accounts, no signup. The rate you are offered by a bank or exchange house includes a margin on top of the mid-market rate, and that margin is what the vs mid-market column measures.
The Android app
The same data is available in the free Android app, with rate alerts when your target is reached, a monthly salary-day reminder, and UAE salary calculators. The app needs no account and keeps your transfer tracker on your phone only.
