Privacy Policy

Short version

We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or location. There are no accounts and no login. The app works fully offline for the converter and transfer tracker. A few anonymous technical identifiers are used to push alerts you asked for and to show ads in the free version. The website is separate: it has no login either, and uses cookies only for advertising and anonymous traffic counting.

What we collect and why

• Random install ID — a random UUID generated on your device on first launch. It identifies your device for alert delivery and nothing else. It cannot be used to identify you personally.
• Push notification token (FCM) — only if you allow notifications and only while Firebase is configured. Used to deliver the rate alerts and salary-day reminders you set up. You can turn all notifications off in the app's Settings at any time.
• Minimal device info — app version and platform (Android), so we can tell which app versions are active.
• Advertising ID — Google AdMob uses the device's advertising ID to show ads in the free tier. You can reset or opt out of personalised ads in your Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID / Opt out of Ads Personalisation). Ads are never shown to Premium subscribers or while an Ad-Free Pass is active.
• Local-only data — your profile name, theme/language choices and transfer-tracker entries (amounts, dates, categories) stay on your device and are never uploaded.

What we never collect

Personal information (name, email, phone), contacts, precise or approximate location, photos, files, SMS, or call logs. We do not sell or share your data with third parties, other than the Google services described above acting as our processors.

Rate data sources

Mid-market rates come from UniRateAPI; exchange-house rates are collected from the houses’ own public listing pages. We store rate and house data with timestamps only — no user data is attached to it.

Data retention

Anonymous device rows (install ID and token) are removed after 90 days of inactivity. Locally stored app data is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its storage.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Your controls

• Notifications: Settings → Notifications toggle (stops all pushes server-side).
• Ads: Premium subscription or Ad-Free Pass removes ads entirely.
• Local data: Settings → profile, or clear app storage in Android settings.

The website (aedtoinr.online)

The website is a separate service from the app. It has no login and no form that collects personal data, and the rate tables and calculators run on our server, so they work with cookies turned off. Cookies are used for two things only: advertising and anonymous traffic counting.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Some pages show ads through Google AdSense, which keeps the site free. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site or to other sites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to aedtoinr.online and other sites on the internet. We do not share information that identifies you with advertisers.

You can opt out of personalised advertising in your Google Ads Settings at adssettings.google.com, and opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info. Opting out does not remove ads; it makes them less relevant to you.

Analytics

When analytics is enabled we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are read. The reports we see are aggregated. We do not use analytics data to build advertising profiles, and we do not combine it with the app's anonymous install ID.

Consent and managing cookies

Visitors in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland are shown a consent message before advertising or analytics cookies are set, and can change that choice later. In any region you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the rate tables and calculators keep working, because they are rendered on the server.
